FAQ

  • Can old window tint be removed?
Yes, old window tint can be removed. The process typically involves peeling off the old tint, which may have degraded over time due to exposure to sunlight and other factors. However, the ease of removal depends on the quality of the original installation and the type of tint used.
  • Can window tint be repaired?
Unfortunately, we are unable to repair any damages to window tint. We’ve found that repairs generally do not resolve the issue effectively, so we recommend a full replacement for the area in question.
  • Why should you get your car windows tinted?
Window tinting provides UV protection, heat reduction, glare reduction, preservation of your car’s interior, and privacy. All of these can help keep your car in top shape, while also adding to the comfort of your car for yourself and passengers.
  • What level of window tint is legal for your car?
For front windows, the tint must be 35% or above to be within legal limits. On rear windows, you can install whichever darkness you prefer, legally, in Missouri and Kansas.
  • Do spray-on bedliners prevent rust?
Yes, spray-on bedliners can help prevent rust. They help to provide a protective barrier between the surface of the bed and external factors, whether that is rain and salt or protecting your truck from scratches while hauling cargo.
  • Can spray-on bedliner be removed?
We are currently unable to remove spray-on bedliner. We are able to provide spot repairs as needed, if you have a problem area that you would like to fix! We can also prep and spray over an existing bedliner, though the longevity will likely not be as good as spraying over the original surface.
  • Which spray-on bedliner is the best?
We offer Scorpion bedliners, which are designed to provide a tough and durable protective coating, guarding against scratches, dents, and chemical exposure. We can also add rubber texture and pigment to our bedliners if so desired.
  • What does spray-on bedliner stick to?
With the correct preparation process, we can apply bedliner to most materials successfully. The most common materials are metal, wood, and fiberglass, but reach out to us with any questions for your vehicle!
  • Does car vinyl wrap scratch easily?
No, car vinyl wraps are designed to be durable and resistant to scratches. However, like any surface, they can still be scratched by sharp objects or abrasive materials. It's essential to take reasonable precautions and avoid contact with rough surfaces to maintain the integrity of the vinyl wrap. Regular maintenance and careful handling will help keep your car looking pristine.
  • Can vinyl wrap be removed?
Certainly. Vinyl wraps can be removed without causing damage to the vehicle's paint, provided the wrap was applied correctly and the paint is in good condition. Professional installers use techniques and materials that allow for clean removal. However, it's recommended to have the removal done by a professional to ensure it's done carefully and without any unintended consequences. DIY removal can be challenging and may result in damage to the underlying paint if not executed properly.
  • How long does a vinyl wrap last?
Generally speaking, a full wrap will last between five and seven years, depending on the care. We apply a ceramic coating on top of our vinyl wraps, in order to extend the life of the wrap and keep your car in excellent shape for as long as possible.
  • Is vinyl wrap bad for your car?
When professionally applied and removed, vinyl wraps are not inherently bad for your car. In fact, they can provide a protective layer for your vehicle's paint, shielding it from minor scratches, stone chips, and other surface damage. However, it's crucial to have the wrap installed and removed by experienced professionals to avoid any potential issues.
